We'd love to have you join us for our newly restarted weekly Accessible Wednesday morning program, AW@10! These special events are held from 10:00am – 11:30am each Wednesday where we do fun activities to help local nonprofits. And what’s extra special about these Wednesday events? Our guests of honor are wonderful and fun volunteers with some developmental challenges who want to give back and help others, in groups and as individuals. The accessible activities we'll do on Wednesdays are specifically designed with these guests in mind, so that everyone can participate and have fun volunteering - because we believe very strongly that absolutely everyone has something to give. Distribute Food at a Drive-through Location in South Gate with LA Food Bank
Please join them in their volunteer day with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank! Volunteers are needed to help process vehicles, collect household information from clients, distribute and load food, and assist with traffic control. Volunteers are needed to help maintain crowd control and social distancing, and distribute food boxes to seniors in need in our community! The food boxes consist of shelf-stable staples such as milk, beans, grains, and canned fruits and vegetables. These boxes go to an average of 28,000 seniors every month at 146 sites throughout Los Angeles County! They are proud to facilitate the largest CSFP in the country and are eternally grateful for the dedicated volunteers who make this work possible! Volunteer at Reading to Kids
Volunteers are the lifeblood of Reading to Kids. Whether they are engaged in organizational duties as Reading to Kids Taskforce committee members or office interns, in operational duties as a school's Site Operations Coordinator on the day of the reading clubs, or as readers and mentors to the hundreds of participating elementary school children, volunteers work together month after month to help provide children with a brighter future by encouraging them to become better readers. Sort Food at LA Food Bank
Since 1973, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has worked to mobilize resources in the community to alleviate hunger. The Food Bank collects food from hundreds of resources. With the help of 15,000 volunteers annually and an agency network of more than 600 partner agencies, they serve more than 800,000 people on a monthly basis. There are volunteer opportunities available 7 days a week. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. For the past few summers, we've had many adventures with all kinds of nice people – vets, foster youth, people experiencing homelessness – all over the city. Well Big Sunday's annual Field Trip Friday's are back and ready to hit you with a summer of fun! Join us for a beautiful and relaxing horseback trail ride Friday July 14, 2023 at Studio Horse Rental (formerly known as Circle K Stables) in Burbank. Big Sunday's annual Field Trip Friday's are back and ready to hit you with a summer of fun! We invite lots of people of all ages, from all walks of life, for a 2-hour harbor cruise. Guests include individuals, families, corporate groups, faith groups. Plus nice folks from group homes, hospitals, shelters – some of whom have never been on a boat before!
All participants are asked just one thing: to meet at least one new person. Then, we all just enjoy each other’s company. Along the way we'll enjoy coffee, juice, and awesome snacks while watching the sea lions take in some sun.
Sign up below for the cruise leaving from Shoreline Village in Long Beach: Friday July 21st. This cruise leaves promptly at 10 am and returns at 12 pm. Please sure to be there before 10am! We would hate for you to miss the cruise! (And everyone’s welcome!)

Big Sunday's annual Field Trip Friday's are back and ready to hit you with a summer of fun! We're excited to host folks from underserved communities on these fun-filled outings, but volunteers are invited to come along and join the party too! Join us Friday, July 28th for our first ever DONUT CRAWL! We'll cruise around the city tasting donuts from some popular donut shops around LA. We'll play games, listen to some tunes, and rate our favorite donuts from each stop. This'll be an event you don't want to miss!

There will be food, drinks, and a lot of friendly competion that you don't want to miss out on.
The bowling alley is located in the valley at: 19616 Ventura Blvd, Tarzana, CA 91356. This event is from 11 am – 1 pm. If you’re someone who runs late (you know who you are), leave a little time to get lost if you haven’t been there before.
