The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson will host a summer camp for youth and families in need from ages (6yrs-13yrs) that will run from July 6th- August 14th 9am-5pm. The BGCC is planning on hosting 30 members for our summer camp which will provided programs in three core areas, academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. At this time the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson is looking for water and snack donations. Their members only have access to one water fountain and due to COVID-19 they are planning on providing water bottles for their members daily in order to keep all members safe. Additionally, their members will remain in program from 9am-5pm with only breakfast and lunch available. Since they will serve families in need they are looking to provide healthy snacks to their members. BGCC is looking for any type of granola bars, fruits, raisins, trail mix, fruit juice, cereal, pretzels, or dry popcorn. Please enter through the back entrance on 215th street. Mask, temperature check, and health questionnaire will be required before entering the facility. Please email mperes@bgccarson.org for donation drop off info.
