Provide Home Cooked Meals for Union Station Homeless Services

Union Station Homeless Services relies on the support of volunteer groups to provide daily home-cooked meals to shelter residents and community members in need. If your family, corporation, or civic group would like to cook and serve a meal or drop off/cater a meal from a local restaurant at one of our shelters, consider sponsoring an "Adopt-a-Meal"! Union Station Homeless Services’ Welcome Home Kits Program helps provide people moving in or out of one of transitional or permanent housing facilities with a “Welcome Kit” of necessary items. This important program assists Union Station in meeting the basic needs of the people they serve as they rebuild their lives and escape homelessness. They need individuals or volunteer groups to provide basic household items from their Welcome Kits List. Organize and Ditribute Food with Union Station Homeless Services

Union Station Homeless Services is in need of volunteers to help their staff organize and distribute food to their clients who are living in motels in El Sereno (off of Huntington Dr.)! Volunteers will help organize meals into bags, receiving/restocking food, organize and help clean equipment, check expiration, and other tasks as needed. This volunteer opportunity will occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
