Donate Hygiene Items & School Supplies for the St. Francis Center
This summer, St. Francis Center will send 80 youth to overnight, weeklong camp! They are in need of items for their summer-camp kits and their back-to-school event. For their summer-camp kits, they are in need of the following items: sunscreen, bug spray, unflavored lip balm, flashlight/batteries, water bottle, sleeping bag, duffel bag, beach towel. For their back-to-school event, they are in need of the following items: backpacks, folders, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, crayons, markers, rulers, glue/gluesticks, scissors. Help Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern California fill their Parent Food Pantry that is located inside the Loma Linda Children's Hospital Hematology/Oncology Unit. They are in need of microwavable dinners that can be stored at room temperature. (No Frozen Foods) For example, Cup of Noodles, Hormel Dinners, etc. Parent Food Pantry! Help them fill their Parent Food Pantry that is located inside the Loma Linda Children's Hospital Hematology/Oncology Unit. This allows the parents to have a decent meal, without leaving their child's beside too long. They are in need of microwavable dinners that can be stored at room temperature and individual chips. Empower the Youth of the Child Care Resource Center By Donating Books
Literacy empowers and you have a chance to do your part! On Saturday, June 9th CCRC will be on hand to receive your book donations from 10 am – 1 pm at their Headquarters location! If you’re looking to clear up space and give the gift of reading, they will happily accept new, or gently used, children’s books (up to age 13). All books received will be distributed back to the children in CCRC's San Fernando Valley community’s children. Safe Place for Youth is a non-profit that serves youth experiencing homelessness in West Los Angeles. Our drop-in center, located in Venice, provides youth with critical resources including food, clothing, health and wellness, case management, and education and employment services.

Enjoy your summer with Big Sunday during our 3rd Annual Get-Ready-For-Summer Movie Night!
Share in a community experience of a BBQ, ice cream and Monster's Inc. We invite community members, schools, senior centers, Veterans, domestic violence survivors and others to a relaxing night of community building. As with all Big Sunday events, admission is free, but we are collecting beach towels and sun screen for the Boys and Girls Club of Hollywood and Antelope Valley. The aim of this event is to build community; in doing so we request everyone meet one new person during the event. We are collecting brand new beach towels and sun screen.
Help Donate Much Needed Essentials for The Academy Projects Summer Camp
Camp Xavier is a week long day camp for 40 3rd-8th grade foster youth on the campus of USC from 9am-5am. 20 of the older youth will then attend a week up in the San Bernardino Mountains enjoying the quinessential summer camp experience- swimming, hiking, sailing, arts and crafts, campfires and much more. They need to feed 40 foster youth breakfast, lunch and a snack for 5 days (and would love to send them home with something too). They also need art supplies and general supplies (first aid kits, plates, napkins, water, paper, pens) They would love to have t-shirts made or rubber wrist bands- somthing to identify their kids (there are many camps of the campus of USC at the dame time. They will be taking their kids to the museam because they dont have their space on Tuesday and would love to get them IMAX tickets (40 of them). Books of all reading levels. Also, please consider sponsoring a 7 day camp experience for an older youth. It costs only $300 (all costs including bus trips, foods, activites, life changing experiences and life long friends.

Support LAUSD-Thomas A. Edison Middle School’s Adopt a Family Program
The Adopt a Family program is designed to support 50 of the most in need families receive basic needs for their kids. Edison has over 1300 students; 100% qualify for free lunch. Edison Middle School is more than an educational institution in their community; it serves as a hub for resources for students and their families. As a community school, one of their values is to assist the families with their everyday needs. They serve a largely immigrant population with a high unemployment rate, many of the students lack the basic needs such as clothing, shoes, school supplies, food, and school uniform. This event is from July 23rd-August 30th, 2018. Donations of clothing, shoes, school uniform, food vouchers, gift cards, school supplies, backpacks are needed. The support of the community is key in school activities and also a way that you can continue helping their students and families in their social and academics. Not only will your contribution be publicly recognized by the school, but this will also be a great opportunity for you to engage with the Edison community! Drop off location will be Thomas A. Many of us think of summer as a wonderful, happy time when kids can be kids. For as many as 32,000 unstably housed children, however, this is far from reality. This summer, The Illumination Foundation is aiming to sponsor 600 children to attend Carnival For Kids, and give these kids an opportunity to enjoy summer, experience a day of fun, and prepare for the school year. With each sponsorship, a low-income or unstably housed child will receive: an unlimited ride wristband, a food, drink and dessert meal ticket, and school supply carnival prizes to get them ready for the new school year!

Come join Infinity Camp 2018! This is the theme of their Summer Camp. They start June 11th and end August 3rd. Every summer on the last week they have a big party for all of their members. This year, they plan to host the party on Wednesday, August 1st. They are in need of school supplies like pencils, markers, paper, backpacks, etc. Their members will be getting ready to return to school and getting these at the BGCC would be a huge resource to their families. For this event, they will rent jumpers, have various activities throughout the day and on their way out they get to take any available giveaways.
