Join Students Run LA Kick Off the Summer for a 5k Race
Enjoy an easy, flat 5K course around the Griffith Park Golf Course. Following the 5K, enjoy free post-race snacks, a DJ, games, and reconnect with SRLA family. Registration is open to EVERYONE! Help Pack Backpacks for Create Now’s Arts Festival Summer Homework Tutors needed for Olive Crest
"Create Now is hosting an arts festival in DTLA near STAPLES on Saturday, August 3rd from 10AM-1PM followed by VIP luncheon 1pm-3pm. The event is geared toward community agencies that serve high-risk youth, their clients and families. They also encourage the local community to attend. The kids will have the opportunity to perform at an Open Mic Talent Show and receive a prize for their participation. There will be arts projects, popular characters, giant games, live art, free snacks and food plus each child will receive a backpack filled with school supplies. They are in need of donations of school supplies and backpacks for 400+ children. In addition, toys and gift cards are also welcome.
