Make Your Way Through a Virtual Mystery with HANDS4HOPE

Make your way through a virtual mystery and play the Stolen Stars Escape Room. The Hands4Hope Youth Board have worked really hard to provide you a fun experience during quarantine that also serves as their fundraiser benefiting the Upper Room Dinning Hall in Placerville. The Upper Room Dining Hall provides meals to the hungry members of their community 365 days a year regardless of race, religion, age, gender, national origin, or income, treating guests with dignity and compassion. Their goal is to raise $3,500 and each sign up to recieve access to the virual mystery get's them $5 closer. All you have to do is open the Google form to get going on your journey. Donate Summer Essentials to Aviva Family and Children’s Services

Aviva Family and Children's Services provides compassionate support, therapeutic services, and guidance to at-risk children and families and they are hosting their first Drive-thru End of Summer Giveaway! It will take place on August 15, 2020 for all Aviva clients. Attendees will receive clothing, shoes, hygiene products, toys, books, school supplies, and MORE! Your contribution will ensure that every child receives school supplies in preparation for the upcoming school year. A list of needed items will be available through Amazon Smile Charity Lists on June 15. Simply got to Amazon Smile Charity Lists, search Aviva's legal name, Hamburger Home, and click on the items you would like to contribute. Items will be sent directly to their main office. Aviva Family and Children's Services is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Help Financially Support Graduating High School Seniors with the Assistance League’s Bright Future Scholarship Program

The League awards financial support for graduating high school seniors from Los Angeles Unified School DistrictÕs Homeless Education Program and Foster Youth Achievement Program who are entering their freshman year of college. The Bright Future Scholarship award is based on academic achievement, character, and commitment to the community. Scholarship awardees receive the same funding for Freshman through Senior years by maintaining no less than a 2.5 GPA. Thirty-Eight students have been awarded scholarships between 2017 Ð 2020. Fund Isolation/Quarantine Kits for COVID-19 Shelters for PATH LA

PATH LA is working in close collaboration with the city and funders to support our homeless neighbors during this crisis. One of our newest initiatives has been the opening of several new quarantine and isolation sites to shelter folks who are at-risk or have tested positive for COVID-19. We are serving over 400 individuals at these sites through shelter, wraparound case management services and social support throughout the length of their stay. Urgent Needs: Hygiene Items: toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, sanitary napkins, adult diapers, unused clothing, socks, backpacks, slippers - Isolation activities: books, markers, activity books, puzzles, board games (Jenga, Uno, cards, Scrabble, Dominos, Checkers, Chess, Connect 4), coloring books, crayons, puzzles, puzzle books, adult coloring, books, pencils. Collect Virtual Miles for Students Run LA

SRLA is celebrating the Class of 2020 the only way they know how - racking up the miles! Together, their goal is to run 2,020 miles before June 20 in celebration of the Class of 2020. It's FREE to sign up for this challenge but, if you can, they hope that you'll also consider adding a donation to keep SRLA running for the next generation of runners. Make the Honor Roll! COVID 19 has changed all our lives, especially for students, teachers, and their families since schools closed last month. For almost 50 years, the Pasadena Educational Foundation has responded to the needs of the PUSD community. This health crisis is presenting new challenges they have never before faced. In an effort to respond quickly to these unanticipated and urgent needs, the Pasadena Educational Foundation has established a Response Fund. Your contribution will help fund the following priorities that they have established, in coordination and partnership with PUSD leadership: Meals for PUSD Students and families, Technology needs for students, 3D printing. They encourage individuals, businesses and corporations, and community organizations to contribute to this fund to help them support their students well being and distance learning needs.

Asisst Kidsave at their First Ever Virtual Miracles Gala

Kidsave's first Virtual National Miracles Gala will be a one-hour, free event on Thursday evening, July 23rd, 2020. The event will air twice, first at 6:00 pm Eastern and then at 6:00 pm Pacific. Donate Essential Items for St. Francis Center Summer Camps

St. Francis Center Youth Summer Camp is held every summer (June to August) for about 200+ youth 6-17 yrs old. Due to the ongoing pandemic, they are working with their traditional summer camp partners to engage their youth for a Òcamp at homeÓ experience throughout summer. Their overnight camp partner will provide a virtual camping experience through their online platform and by sending children home with a camp kit box with activities planned for 6 weeks. Their art and cooking camp partners will also provide an Òat homeÓ version of an art and cooking camp for the youth. They will be providing educational/activity kits to their youth that they will pick up weekly while they participate in the to-go pantry services. They need donations for their youth camp at home experiences such as books, bug spray, flashlights/batteries, sunglasses, hats, small toys, teepees, sunscreen, and lip balm. Help Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern California fill their Parent Food Pantry! The "Parent PantryÓ is made available to parents on the Hematology/Oncology Unit at Loma Linda University ChildrenÕs Hospital. Patient hospital stays range from days, to weeks, and often times several months. The pantry will help provide a meal or snack for parents as they stay at their childÕs bedside. This will help alleviate some of the financial burden and the need to leave their childÕs bedside for a meal.
