Join The Assistance League of Los Angeles for a Family Day of Service

For nearly 100 years, Assistance League of Los Angeles has worked to improve the lives of underserved, foster and homeless children in our community. The League's Family Day of Service will be a unique opportunity for local families to give back to children in need. For this event they will be collecting a variety of scholastic goodies for children that include crayons, rulers, colored paper, spiral notebooks, pencils, erasers, wide-ruled notebook paper, colored pencils, glue sticks, index cards, educational workbooks and gift cards. On the day of the event, attendees will sort and pack all the supplies, make special handmade cards and enjoy light refreshment and entertainment. Come Out to Support the Veterans of the Antelope Valley and Get Your Color On!

Bring your family and GET YOUR COLOR ON for a 5k through Pelona Vista Park that's a little on-road and a little off-road...nothing you can't handle. Plenty of color stations at every kilometer focusing on the colors of America. The starting line has great music to get you motivated for your WARM-UP and plenty more jams to motivate through your day. Waves start at 8am and go every few minutes. Suitable for all levels of walkers, runners and those in between of all ages. This is an un-timed event. Benefiting transitional housing, scholarships, financial assistance and PTSD counseling. Help Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in Assembling Food Packages for over 26,000 Folks

Take a BITE out of Hunger! Volunteers are needed at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to help in assembling food packages for over 26,000 low income seniors, women with infants, and children in Los Angeles County. The food packages consist of food items like canned fruit, canned vegetables, rice, cereal and other non-perishable food items. By giving just a little of our time, we can make a big difference in our community. Must be at least 14 (sorry, no exception min age is 14) 3 hours All volunteers must wear closed toed shoes.

Join A Place Called Home for their Health and Garden Expo

This convention will provide access to basic preventive services and screenings; an opportunity to enroll in low-cost or free health care coverage; and it will also encourage participants to make positive changes to their lifestyle and behavior in order to improve their health. The resource portion of this fair is targeted to increase awareness of the opportunities, services and programs offers to the community. This will be a wonderful opportunity for parents and community members to receive critical services and learn about resources within the community. Please contact for selection of shift. Help Sort GOODies with the Good+ Foundation

Looking for a first-hand glimpse into the work GOOD+ does every day? Bring your organization, friends or family to participate in a volunteer project at their offices/warehouse headquartered just outside of Culver City. They can accommodate up to 20 volunteers in their space. "Off-Site" Projects GOOD+ Foundation’s volunteer team can organize and staff off-site volunteer projects at offices and places of worship. A courier service is used to pick up and drop off bins and supplies. Please note, they do ask the host of the off-site to cover the courier fees as they cannot absorb these costs.
