Sort and Pack Fresh Produce for Families at the LA Site Warehouse

Since 1973, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has worked to mobilize resources in the community to alleviate hunger. Volunteers will be assembling food packages for over 29,000 families, older adults, and children who face food insecurity in Los Angeles County. All volunteers must arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in. Free parking is available on-site; however, it is very limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Carpooling, being dropped off, or bussing in together is strongly recommended. For safety reasons, closed-toe/closed-heel shoes are required, and headphones or earbuds cannot be worn in the volunteer production areas. Casual, comfortable, layered attire is recommended as volunteers will work in a warehouse with cooler temperatures. Please note that shorts and tank tops are not permitted. Gloves are provided onsite. Minimum age requirement to volunteer is 18.
