Support Cyclists at Bike Multiple Sclerosis Los Angeles

Bike Multiple Sclerosis Los Angeles Volunteers needed! Over 200 volunteers are needed for the 2018 Bike MS Los Angeles event to support cyclists riding on Sunday, June 3 as they raise funds to find a cure for multiple sclerosis and provide services for those living with MS. The event will start and end at the Rose Bowl and participants will travel through the San Gabriel Mountains and other iconic Los Angeles landmarks. There is a place for individuals as well as groups. Volunteers are needed to help with the following assignments: Check-in (walkers and volunteers,) Cheerers, Rest stops, Route support, Festival site, Medical Support, and Set Up. Requirements & Commitment: Driver's License Needed, Background Check, Must be at least 18, Must Provide Proof of Automobile Insurance. Team Up with Crohn’s & Colitis at their Take Steps Los Angeles Walk

Volunteers Needed for Take Steps Walk: They are looking for awesome volunteers to help make this year's Take Steps Los Angeles walk the best yet!! They need volunteers to help with set-up/clean-up, registration, food distribution, and our fun kid's zone! It's going to be a great time and you will not want to miss this! The Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitiswalk is the nation’s largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases. Many patients have only ever met a handful of other patients suffering from IBD - this is a unique opportunity to meet hundreds of IBD patients, families, and supporters from your own backyard. There is no fee to register and no team is too big or small! Walk day is an incredible experience for all to celebrate the efforts that have been put forth in raising funds toward our mission. Join Students Run LA Alumni and Your Favorite LA Run Crews for a 5k Race

Enjoy an easy, flat 5K course around the Griffith Park Golf Course. Following the 5K, enjoy free post-race snacks, a DJ, games, and reconnect with some of SRLA’s longest serving SRLA leaders. Help Donate Much Needed Essentials for The Academy Projects Summer Camp

Camp Xavier is a week long day camp for 40 3rd-8th grade foster youth on the campus of USC from 9am-5am. 20 of the older youth will then attend a week up in the San Bernardino Mountains enjoying the quinessential summer camp experience- swimming, hiking, sailing, arts and crafts, campfires and much more. They need to feed 40 foster youth breakfast, lunch and a snack for 5 days (and would love to send them home with something too). They also need art supplies and general supplies (first aid kits, plates, napkins, water, paper, pens) They would love to have t-shirts made or rubber wrist bands- somthing to identify their kids (there are many camps of the campus of USC at the dame time. They will be taking their kids to the museam because they dont have their space on Tuesday and would love to get them IMAX tickets (40 of them). Books of all reading levels. Also, please consider sponsoring a 7 day camp experience for an older youth. It costs only $300 (all costs including bus trips, foods, activites, life changing experiences and life long friends.

Summer SunDay is a half-day fundraising hike up to the East Peak of Mount Tamalpais on Sunday, July 15. Wednesdays (July 11th, 18th, 25th and August 1st & 8th) is tbd in the morning 10am-11:30am and 1pm-3pm will be Zumba. Thursday (July 12th, 19th, 26th and August 2nd & 9th) is Community Garden building from 10am-11:30am and Free Arts from 1pm-3pm.
