Help Set Up for LA Family Housing’s Shop and Swap Event
An opportunity to come support LAFH participants in an event. Help with set up, organizing and support for an outdoor clothing and supply shop set up following covid guidelines. This is a participant facing event although interaction is not directly required. **For this site LAFH do ask that all volunteers identify as Women for the comfort of all our Women interim housing facility participants. Thank you for volunteering for this much needed event to support their participants at LAFH. Parking is available on site, drive up to security gate and security will open and check you in. They will have the bingo set, cards, and prizes, you just need to bring a fun, upbeat attitude to lead everyone through a game of bingo or jeopardy. Take a Group Horseback Riding with Big Sunday
We need two volunteers to help oversee our Summer Field Trips where to take folks horseback riding. We take talk folks from all over town, including vets, kids with special needs and others. Volunteer duties include helping with check-in, passing out waters, snacks and t-shirts, and being friendly. No gurantee on getting to ride- depends on the numbers.
